1. Who we are

Valta Voice (“Valta”, “we”, “us”) provides an AI-powered business phone system. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

• Account data you provide (name, email, business details, phone numbers).
• Call and message content: recordings, transcripts, summaries, and SMS history.
• Usage and device data needed to operate and secure the service.

3. Call recording & consent

Valta records and transcribes inbound and outbound calls handled by your business phone so you can review them. Recording laws vary by state and country. In many places you must inform callers that the call is recorded, and some jurisdictions require all-party consent.

You are responsible for obtaining any consent the law requires from your callers — for example, by including a recording notice in your AI greeting or call menu. We provide tools to add such a notice, but you control your greetings and are responsible for compliance in the regions you operate.

4. How we use your data

To answer and route calls, generate transcripts/summaries, power AI replies from your Knowledge Base, send alerts, and improve and secure the service. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Data handling, retention & sub-processors

Call audio, transcripts, and messages are stored to provide the service and retained until you delete them or close your account, subject to any legal retention requirements. We use trusted sub-processors to operate the product — including telephony (Twilio), AI/transcription providers, and cloud hosting — who process data on our behalf under contract. A current list is available on request.

6. Your choices & rights

You can view, export, and delete call records, messages, and contacts in your dashboard. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.
